“Evening Glow”
A charming early 20th-century British landscape oil painting depicting a tranquil countryside scene at sunset, with a winding path leading through the foreground towards an expansive landscape beneath a softly glowing evening sky.
The painting has a particularly atmospheric quality, with warm evening light illuminating the distant horizon and carefully painted trees, vegetation and water in the foreground.
The work is signed “H. EAST” lower right and titled “Evening Glow” to the mount below the painting.
Presented in a highly decorative ornate giltwood frame with elaborate floral and foliate decoration, which complements the traditional landscape beautifully.

Condition
The painting is offered in antique/period condition. There are signs of age consistent with an older oil painting, including surface wear, areas of craquelure and some minor marks visible upon close inspection. The ornate frame also has age-related wear, rubbing and small losses consistent with its age. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the condition report.
