Here is an extraordinarily beautiful handmade, hand-embroidered crazy quilt that measures 75 x 61 inches (not including the hangers) It is made of velvet, silk and fine cottons and the amount of detail and work on it is incredible. (See video of the entire quilt and lots of photos.)
Made by a friend and it hung on his wall. Spend some time looking at each intricate square. The back is made of fine cotton (I think).
In remarkably good condition, edges of the velvet are very slightly faded and there is only one square that I found that is torn and I had to really look for it. A couple of the silk squares have small tears in the fine fabric - see photos at the end. Photos were taken under my skylight - the quilt is not faded in that spot! Own this piece of gorgeous craftsmanship or give it to someone special.
