HO Scale BEB-17 Ballast Regulator ~ 3D Resin Printed Kit ~ Undecorated
Design is based on the BEB-17 ballast regulator manufactured by Canron/Tamper Corporation. Introduced and built in the 70\'s and 80\'s, these regulators were commonly used by Conrail and have also been in use by Union Pacific.
Kits are offered in basic and deluxe options. No matter what type of layout you have, our models are perfect to use for Class 1 to freelanced railroads.
Each kit includes the following 3D printed parts:
~ Main Body~ Cab~ Wheels~ Wheel Covers~ 2 Styles Of Rear Broom Housing~ 2 Rear Brooms~ Side Wing Plows~ Front Plow~ Pistons~ 3D Printed Detail Set - cooler/lid, hose reel, traffic cones, fire extinguisher, beacons, horn, buckets, and cab roof air conditioner~ Length of brass rod for use with side plows and pistons - this is optional and parts may be glued in place~ Deluxe kits have an included custom decal set, printed by Circus City Decals, with common warning labels found on prototype maintenance of way equipment. Resin printing is not perfect as with injection molding. Therefore, minor imperfections could occur along with slight bowing depending on design. Applying heat will allow the model to be reshaped in the event any parts need to be straightened.
Kits are printed to order and may take up to three weeks depending on current order volume.
