Offered for sale is a vintage Hasselblad Carl Zeiss Planar 100mm f/3.5 T* lens with Compur leaf shutter, manufactured in West Germany. This is the classic C-series version with the desirable Zeiss T* multicoating, designed for the Hasselblad V-system medium-format cameras.

The 100mm Planar is highly regarded for its exceptional sharpness, excellent contrast, and low distortion, making it a particularly desirable lens for portraiture, studio photography, and general medium-format use.

Cosmetic Condition:

The lens is in good vintage condition, showing normal signs of age and use. There is some finish wear, light scuffing, and minor marks on the exterior, as visible in the photographs. All markings remain legible, and the lens presents well overall.

Optical Condition:

The glass appears clear, with some light cleaning marks on the rear element. There is one faint tiny hairline scratch, no effect. There is some moderate internal dust, no effect. The Zeiss T* multicoating remains attractive.No significant optical defects were observed. Mechanical Condition:

• Shutter: Tested at various speeds against a DSLR camera, with results appearing accurate. The shutter fires and operates properly during testing.

A very nice example of the sought-after Hasselblad 100mm Planar C T* lens, with good glass, minor rear-element cleaning marks, and a shutter that performed accurately during testing. It\'s not perfect, as it is a 50+ year user lens. The lens shows expected cosmetic wear for its age but remains attractive and mechanically functional based on the tests performed.

The lens has not been professionally serviced or calibrated during my ownership. Testing was performed to the best of my ability, and no guarantee of laboratory-level shutter accuracy is implied. It comes with front and rear caps.
