Product Overview The pneumatic leg rock drill is a heavy-duty device for drilling rocks. It features high efficiency and low energy consumption, can drill horizontal and inclined holes in medium-hard and hard rocks can also drill upward anchor bolt holes. It can be equipped with a pneumatic leg, drill wagon or drill rig for dry or wet rock drilling. The pneumatic rock mill is particularly suitable for construction projects such as railways, highways and hydropower stations, and also serves as a replacement product for mine roadway excavation in metallurgy, coal mining and other industries, and various rock drilling operations. Precaution 1. The machine is coated with anti-rust oil when leaving the factory. It should be disassembled and cleaned before use. When reassembling the machine, apply lubricating oil to the mating surfaces and run the machine at low speed for testing.
2. When connecting air and water pipes, blow out any debris inside the pipes to prevent it from entering the machine body and affecting normal operation.
3. Before supplying air and water, carefully ensure that all connections are secure and reliable to avoid accidental disconnection and injury.
4. Fill the oiler with oil before starting the machine. Operating without lubrication is strictly prohibited.
5. When using the machine on the site containing super-high levels of gas (methane), do not use low-flash-point flammable lubricants. The machine must not be run idle, as this could cause an explosion.
6. Adjust the oil valve, and add oil approximately once per hour.
7. During operation, pay special attention to the risk of sudden breakage of the drill steel (drill rod). Take care to avoid being crushed between the rock drill and the air leg.
8. When the machine finishes working, shut off the water supply, and then run it at low speed for a short time to drain any accumulated water inside and prevent rusting.
9. The air leg, oiler and muffler cover are controlled components subject to safety certification. Users must select these parts (components) from our company to match the main unit; otherwise, we shall not be liable for any resulting issues.
10. The pneumatic rock drill will generate noise, vibration and dust during operation. Operators should take precautions and wear earmuffs (noise-canceling ear protectors).
11. When used in coal mines or gas-containing environments, the outer tube of the air leg is strictly prohibited from violent impact, as this could generate sparks and cause an explosion.
Product Features Lifting Handle The lifting handle is designed for convenient holding, carrying and temporary hanging during and after use, can buffer the vibration during operation and improves the operation stability. Connectors The water/air connector is used to be connected with the water/air supply, the stable power is provided for the rock mill, and the wet type rock drilling can be well achieved. Operation Handle The operation handle is used for controlling start and stop, air and water linkage and air purging, ensuring the normal operation of the rock mill and is convenient to adjust and use. Reset Springs The two reset springs are adopted to assist the drill rod in resetting after impact and ensuring continuous operation. The reset springs are elastic, durable and practical. Support The support can abut against the rock wall or tunnel roof to provide stable supporting force for rock drilling operation and has a good supporting effect. Connecting Bend The connecting bend can be quickly connected with the air pipe, the air source can be stably provided for the pneumatic leg, and pipeline arrangement is convenient and flexible. Operation Method 1. Check the machine and ensure all parts are intact and the machine can operate normally.
2. Connect the machine to the air supply and water supply and support the pneumatic leg on the ground.
3. Adjust the pressure regulating valve to apply the appropriate thrust to the pneumatic leg.
4. Control the operation valve handle to operate the machine to drill rocks.
5. After drilling, close the operation valve, disconnect the impact and water path, slowly retract the pneumatic leg and stably move the rock mill out of the hole.
