Design DescriptionHutch BMX was founded in 1979 by Maryland bicycle shop owner Richard Hutchins, who turned his ideas for a purpose-built racing bike into one of BMX\'s most recognizable brands. The company\'s earliest frames were designed and manufactured by Profile Racing through the early 1980s before production shifted to Speed Unlimited, the builder behind Thruster racing bikes. Hutch later brought frame production in-house, but intense competition from rapidly growing rivals like GT and Haro eventually forced the company to move manufacturing to Taiwan. While other major brands successfully made the same transition without hurting their image, Hutch loyalists largely rejected the overseas-built frames, which were widely viewed as inferior in quality to the original American-made bikes. The loss of its premium reputation proved difficult to overcome, marking the beginning of the brand\'s decline during BMX\'s first boom. To get the length, measure from the high shoulder point down to the bottom of the shirt. To get the width, measure approximately 1-inch below the armhole, across the chest, from seam to seam. While our tees are all made using premium, pre-shrunk, ring-spun cotton, there can be some shrinkage depending on your personal wash and dry cycles. With that said, if you’re on the fence, we always suggest going up a size. All sizes are provided in inches! Please note that variations in sizing of up to 1.5 inches are possible.
