Extreme Steering Control
Hardened alloy steel double-joint axle shafts provide up to 47° of steering angle while reducing wheel vibration. Retaining springs help keep joint pins secure during high-angle steering for smoother, more reliable control. This added steering range helps the crawler tackle tight lines and demanding obstacles with greater confidence.
Hydraulic Steering System
The scale-inspired double-ended hydraulic ram and low-mounted BTA servo mount deliver precise steering with minimal flex. The rigid aluminum servo mount and third member improve steering response and stability on technical terrain. The setup provides a clean, realistic steering layout while maintaining dependable performance under load.
Front Weight Bias
Heavy brass steering knuckles add valuable unsprung weight directly at the front wheels, lowering the crawler’s center of gravity for improved stability and traction. This added front-end weight helps keep the tires planted and enhances climbing performance over steep and technical obstacles. The extra weight also helps maintain a more controlled feel when navigating uneven terrain.
