Wonderful hand painted folk art tin by artist John Dunn. This decorative metal canister features a warm rust red and black finish with hand painted pears, green grapes, leaves and delicate decorative accents. The artwork continues around the canister and onto the lid. The bottom is signed by the artist. This piece has a beautiful aged folk art appearance and displays very well. There is paint loss around the lid as shown in the photo. Please see all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description. I purchased this piece at the Decorative Painting Convention in 1991. I was so proud to come home with this treasure and have enjoyed it all of these years! But now it is time to share. A wonderful piece for a John Dunn collection, American folk art collection, primitive decor or country kitchen display.
