A finely bound 1880 French poetic work by Jules Breton, titled Jeanne, published in Paris by G. Charpentier. This is a decorative leather-bound volume with raised bands, gilt tooling, and marbled endpapers, representing a classic 19th-century French binding style.
The spine features ornate gilt decoration and lettering with raised bands, and the boards are bordered with gilt detail. The interior includes striking marbled endpapers and a bookplate from a previous owner.
