The \"Luch\" lens is a rare, specialized laboratory lens manufactured in the Soviet Union and developed at the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant (KMZ) 1949

Key specifications and features:

Optical design: An exact replica of the classic German six-element anastigmat, the Doppel-Anastigmat Dagor.

Focal length: 180 mm.

Aperture (maximum f-stop): f/6.8.

Angle of view: 76°;

the lens is designed for large format and fully covers a 10×15 cm frame, while factory documentation specifies a maximum size of 30×30 cm.

Purpose: It was used primarily for scientific, reproduction, and laboratory work.

Unlike the original German “Dagor” lenses, the Soviet “Luch” has somewhat poorer and simpler color reproduction; however, it is highly valued among photography equipment collectors and large-format photography enthusiasts for its rarity and optical design.

The lens produces images with low contrast, and the color rendering is also different from that of the Dagor.

Condition:

The lens is in good working condition. The appearance can be seen from the photos. 

The front and rear glass are clean and clear, with no scratches, only a few minor cleaning marks and dust particles inside.

You can also see slight scuffs on the coating in the center of both lenses.   

There are a few air bubbles inside the glass. There is no fungus. There is no oil on aperture blades. Please see the photos. 

The aperture control ring rotates smoothly and accurately.

I modified the focusing helicoid for this lens to have an M42 thread and a working distance adapted for cameras with an M42 mount. You can use adapters such as M42-PL, Sony E, FX, Micro 4/3, L-mount, Nikon F or Z, and others. If you need adapters, please contact me before purchasing the lens.

Don\'t worry, delivery from Ukraine works as usual! All parcels are shipped from Rivne on time. However, delivery times depend on transport companies that transit outside of Ukraine.

Return Policy:
