📌 KTM 950 / 990 ADVENTURE COOLANT TANK FOR SALE – 3D PRINTED UPGRADED VERSION
As many of you know, the original coolant tank for the KTM 950/990 Adventure is no longer in production. The few used ones around are often fragile, cracked, or yellowed.
That’s why I decided to produce them with 3D printing FDM in TPU HT, with several improvements over the stock part.
👉 Why this tank is better than the OEM one:
- High-performance TPU material: easily withstands up to 140 °C without any deformation. Unlike the OEM plastic, it’s not brittle – you can even hit it with a hammer and it won’t break.
- No cracks: excellent layer adhesion from 3D printing prevents the typical fractures that appeared during falls or vibrations.
- Reinforced thickness: OEM wall thickness was 2 mm, mine is 3.2 mm, with reinforced screw mounts. For installation you’ll just need bolts about 5 mm longer.
- Improved transparency: won’t yellow over time and has greater clarity, making it easier to check coolant levels while riding.
- Cap included: I supply the reservoir with a cap, upgraded compared to OEM – it seals better and prevents leaks if the bike tips over.
- Plug & play fitment: just use slightly longer bolts and reuse the original black rubber grommets.

🔥 Tested in real-world conditions
This is not just a bench project – the reservoir has been tested by 102 different riders in various conditions around the world:
- Enduro riding: handled drops, impacts, and vibrations with no issues.
- Daily commuting: perfect even for riders who use their bike every day in traffic.
- Long-distance travel: one tester rode over 4000 km during summer, including 2500 km in Corsica, fully loaded with luggage and passenger. The fan kicked in many times to keep the bike cool, but the reservoir always held up flawlessly.
