A beautiful impressive Norwegian solid silver serving spoon. It is hallmarked with the Norwegian 830 standard mark along with the makers mark of David Andersen, this mark was used 1888 to 1925. I would date this piece to c1900. It has been beautifully made having an ornate cast handle and planished bowl. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 8 inches (20.4cm) long by over 2.5 inches (6.6cm) wide and weighs 80 grams. A very beautiful piece.
