A Ludwig Standard model 28 snare drum from 1940. Greeny-gold paint finish with nickel hardware, 6.5 by 14 inches, complete and all original except the heads.
Good condition, finish has crazing but is almost fully intact as shown, stable and not brittle or flaking off. Shell and rims in round, no ply issues, bearing edges original and flawless top and bottom. All thread are good, strainer is smooth and solid.Has not been cleaned or polished.
