* Vintage Lionel No. 3650 Searchlight Extension Car
* Postwar Lionel O gauge
* Searchlight assembly is present with clear plastic lens
* Lens has scratches/scuffs from age and use
* Large red extension-wire reel with green wire
* Magnetic pickup is present and still magnetic
* Reel crank handle is broken off and missing
* Green wire is present; I do not know whether the wire is original
* Car is untested electrically
* Dirty/dusty from long-term storage
* Some brown discoloration/staining is present on the gray body; I only tried water and did not attempt further cleaning
* Shows normal age-related wear, scratches, oxidation and marks

Vintage Lionel No. 3650 Searchlight Extension Car from a large estate collection. This is an interesting postwar operating/accessory car featuring the large center extension-wire reel, searchlight and magnetic pickup.
The searchlight lens is intact but does have visible scratching. The magnetic pickup is still present and does stick to metal. The green wire is present, although I cannot confirm whether it is original.
Important: the crank handle for the center reel has broken off and is missing. The car has not been electrically tested, so the searchlight and other operating functions are being sold as untested.
The car has not been cleaned beyond a light attempt with water on the brown area shown in the photos. I have intentionally left it as found rather than risk damaging the original finish.
