Hi, This is the#31777 (#2124W) GG-1 Penn Passenger Set (no engine box, missing insulators)that Lionel made in 2008 as a remake of the O Gauge Set from the later1940s. Includes the 2322 GG-1 Electric and three 2625/2625/2625 HeavyweightPassenger Cars, with Command Control. Our Opinion is that the Set is generallyin Excellent to Like New Condition. Original Boxes. All Original in our Opinion.
As stated, there is NO engine box and 4 insulators are missing on one pantograph and 1 is missing on the other. These are available cheap on .
As you can see from the wheel pics, this was barely run! These pics are from before my short test run.
The car boxes, liners and paper wrappings are also very nice. Set box is included (only box missing is the engine box). No shipping carton. Instructions as seen.
There are some wrapping paper rubs on the roofs of the cars. I tried to demonstrate how at certain angles you can see them more that other angles/ Bright lights.
This is a great set and runs great! All lights work.
Unitswere TESTED with conventional transformer and performed great forward, reverse and lights Great set!
