Lionel 6-18901 Pennsylvania Railroad “Double A” Alco Diesel Locomotive Set in O Gauge. This matching PRR A-A diesel set features the classic Pennsylvania Tuscan Red paint scheme with gold striping and Lionel detailing.
The set appears to be new old stock and includes the original Lionel box and factory styrofoam inserts. Paint, lettering, trucks, and overall appearance remain very clean and display nicely.
Please note the following condition issues:
- One locomotive has a noticeable shell warp/deformation across the roof/body area caused by long-term storage pressure inside the factory styrofoam insert.
- The second locomotive also shows minor shell deformation/warping, though less severe.
- No major cracks, broken corners, or missing pieces observed.
These issues appear to be cosmetic storage-related deformation rather than impact damage. Please examine all photos carefully for exact condition details before purchasing.
Features include:
- Lionel O Gauge 3-Rail operation
- Pennsylvania Railroad livery
- Matching Double A Alco diesel configuration
- Lighted units
- Die-cast trucks
- Original Lionel packaging included
A harder-to-find PRR diesel set that still displays well despite the shell warping issues. Ideal for collectors, operators, restoration, or display.
