This3-D printed back is an opportunity for you to maximize theversatility of your MamiyaRB-67.This is one of my custom \"Lo- Fi\" designs for your creativeenjoyment. It allows you to shoot PolaroidOriginals I-type film, 600 film, and SX-70 film! I designed it so the camera has no clearance issues like some backs.This back allows you to set your camera down flat on a table withoutremoving the back. Itis also dialed perfectly into the film plane so you can use your rangefinder/ viewfinder ofyour choice totake your pictures. It uses four aaa batteries, so the film doesn’tneed an internal battery. This is handy with old film that may have abad battery, and also the cheap and common I type film. The ejectbutton is just a momentary switch so you just hold it down until thefilm is ejected and then release the button. This takes some gettingused to, but by the 3rdpack I was perfect at it!
Ireinforced the mounting lugs for a perfectly tight fit that is reallystrong. I printed solid tops and bottoms with fill at 50 percent(muchmore than the average 20 percent fill that typical 3-d objects areprinted). Unlikesome instant backs for RB67, there is very little cropping. I openedup the inside so the only limit is the camera itself(you will seelittle “bracket” looking cutoff in corners)!
Ihave included a pack with used/bad photos so you can practice yourejection skills before you mount the back- just eject and reloaduntil you are comfortable with the eject. The back is pre-loaded withbatteries and I included some fresh ones- have style=\"font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal;\">
