BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Considered the rarest iteration of all the classic 498 series.

Released in 2000, production run was terminated in July that year and never offered again.

Production run was only 7 months.

Extremely low run and only offered to European markets.

It has a unique special final order celebratory run of a marbleized finish.

Upon further investigation it appears to be a wrapping with subsequent transparent varnish containing particles of gold dust. To the eyes it appears the gold dust is in suspension and irregular and in homogeneous state.

This covers the entire reel making each one different unto itself

This rare collectors grade example is being offered in truly pristine condition and I can't even remember the last time seeing one on .

This is a very heavy reel and will of course be well protected for transit and will have adequate insurance applied.

Shipping is via USPS GROUND ADVANTAGE ONLY and only one day per week. Ship to US mainland only and must have a physical address for delivery to your door.
