Mortal. “Sold Separately.” Two words that haunted every child of the 1980s. The tiger, the throne, the sword, the other cat — none of them came in the box, and Mattel knew exactly what it was doing. The Dark Variant, a villain, tips its hat.
Secret Lair x Masters of the Universe: Sold Separately, Non-Foil Edition — five cards from The Most Powerful Superdrop in the Universe (September 2026), the accessories drop. Battle Cat, Panthor, the Bone Throne, the Sword of Power itself, and a bonus double-sided Command Tower, because every warlord needs a base. Kevin the raccoon has claimed the Bone Throne. The Dark Variant’s actual throne. Kevin has two thrones now.
Contents of the tribute:
- 1x Fortune, Loyal Steed as “Battle Cat, Fighting Tiger”
- 1x The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride as “Panthor, Savage Cat”
- 1x Throne of the God-Pharaoh as “Bone Throne”
- 1x Sword of War and Peace as “Sword of Power”
- 1x Command Tower (bonus card, double-sided)
The renamed cards are mechanical reprints — the original card name is printed beneath each title, so they are fully legal at any table where such trifles are debated.
