Vintage 1996 Charvel USA Custom Shop Employee Project Telecaster — Serial 960187from thepre-Fender Airport Drive Ontario era.

This is my own personal guitar and is accompanied by asigned first-person provenance from Master Builder Mike Shannon, recounting my employee project and describing Shannon’s involvement in selecting the wood, cutting the body and performing the routing. Also included is a photograph of Mike holding the completed instrument in typical heavy metal fashion (Ozzy fingers and rock snarl, LOL)

The letter states,

“Hey Sandy!

It\'s always great to hear from you.Yes, of course I remember that Telecaster, you were so excited about your employee project. Tim handpicked the wood at the lumberyard and then I picked from there and cut the body and all of the routing.

I can\'t believe you\'ve had it all these years and still hasn\'t been touched. It\'s a beauty! Do you remember the running joke about this? We all said it was a great piece of ash, LOL. BTW, thanks for putting up with all us guys. You were the only female yet fit right in.

It was awesome to see Danny today, it\'s been years! Hope you enjoy the photo with your beast.

Take care,” with original signature in blue ink.

Condition:This guitar is inmuseum-quality mint conditionwithless than 20 minutes of total play timesince new. It has been stored in itsSKB Jackson case in a climate-controlled environmentthroughout its life.

Remarkably, it isstill in tune after 30 years. Four tiny finish bubbles are present on the top near the input jack. They are very small and localized and are disclosed here for complete transparency.

The guitar presents as an exceptionally preserved, highly collectible example of early Charvel USA Custom Shop craftsmanship.

The accompanying signed provenance and photograph of Shannon with the instrument provides a direct connection to the guitar\'s Charvel Custom Shop history.
