I bought this approx. 16 years ago from the original owner and I had it serviced at that time given its age. I\'ve used it over the years to play records and tapes and occasional radio. Its worked for my needs over the years but there are a few issues I identified that the NEW buyer should be aware of and hence why I have it listed for parts not working.
When you power on the unit - and you turn down the volume all the way, some sound source will still be audible - not loud but you can hear it - so if you are playing a tape for example and want to turn it down, you\'ll still hear it.
The scope is not working. Its been on an off - but not consistently on and currently is not working.
The silver knob - titled \"Selector\" on the receiver - the internal plastic one of the small pieces broke, I glued it back together and put it back on the receiver after it dried.
I don\'t use every function of the receiver as I played records and tapes and occasionally the radio. So I did not fully test every function of this receiver so I can\'t guarantee or verify that every function of this unit operates as it should.
As said - this unit presents well and looks really nice cosmetically. See the pictures for a few of the scratches on the wood. It\'s a functional receiver but does have some issues i identified and listed above. I\'m erring on the side of caution as I don\'t want to make any functional claims I cant substantiate.
