My Matsuda Extremely Rare, Vintage 1990s Sunglasses Gold Metal Frame Red Lens 145mm. Frame is in very good condition almost like new. Lenses are in good condition, with some micro scratches. The original Matsuda case has a few minor scrapes on it but still looks very clean and gorgeous. Side shield is also in very good, like new condition. Size on the frame is 61 22 145
Like most of my other listings, it has been sitting in my safe for decades, and it is now time for me to part with it.
This is a very handsome and unique 2838 Matsuda sunglasses with elaborate workmanship on the frame from the 1990\'s. It is not the new model 2838 that does not resemble it in any way and pales in comparison.
Please see the last photo I have posted which is of a similar frame 1990s Matsuda model 2809 listed as \"Rare Find\" selling for over $2,600.00 The side-shield in that one is plastic, mine has a beautiful supple leather. I think my Matsuda model 2838 is a more unique, and elegant unisex design by Matsuda Japan. The 2809 does not even come with it\'s original case. My Matsuda comes with it\'s original Matsuda case which was also made in Japan.
