The outside is worn, but intact. A few of the pages are loose, but not missing. There are many foldouts of maps and other documents and pictures and all are in good shape.
This book certainly is not much to look at. It is over 700 pages long, the cover is \"Army Green\" , and the top and bottom edges are both frayed. However, because of what this is and what time period is covered, I feel it is something that a lover of history would find fascinating.This is a book which contains the following information on the title page:

At this time, we were fighting the Spanish-American War. The documents in here, the many maps which show where various troops and other military encampments are located all pertain to exactly what was happening at that time and the various reports (from people likeGeneral Arthur MacArthur Jr., who commanded troops in the Philippines during the Spanish-American War and later served as military governor) all explain exactly what was going on and how the people and the government reacted during that time.
There are at least 10 large fold-out maps (all multi-folder; some as large as 3 feet) used to explain what was going on during that time. There are also a number of photographs.
