Monk\'s Moods Thelonious Monk Prestige 7159 MONO Art Blakey Percy Heath 1954 RVG:
$40.00
Thelonious Monk Trio Monk\'s Moods Prestige 7159 MONO RVG stamped fireworks label pressing with Art Blakey, Percy Heath, Max Roach and Gary Mapp (a policeman who made just a handful of LP\'s in 1954, here is the first of them). LP is VG+ and does have a few light hair like surface marks looking like a tiny whip, no effect on play in any way, the cover is also VG+ and it is a classic as it is the debut on Monk\'s self-proclaimed favorite tune: Blue Mon from a 1954 recording. See all the details in the photos above. Beautiful Monk LP and by far my favorite Monk date.
