These are NOS German Case saver\'s with an eight (8)mm i.d. for an Air-Cooled engine crankcase.
These are the factory size for the std. Eight (8) mm crankcase studs used in later factory case\'s.
These can and are used to install 8mm studs in a crankcase without Any installed from the factory.
They also feature the larger o.d. which gives an improved anchor for the studs in the case..
Some factory units were a finer thread and a closed end...
