Ms. Selvin is a recognized American sculptor & ceramic artist. Her work is in the collections of the Smithsonian, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Oakland Museum & the Crocker Art Museum among others.
Nancy Selvin is part of a group of post war generation Bay Area ceramic artists who endeavored to challenge ceramic traditions & emphasize the sculptural & artistic aspects of clay.
This was purchased at sale.There are no chips, cracks or repairs.The piece measures 17” in diameter & 2 1/2” in height.
