Over the years, we have sold more than 2,000 Ghurka bags and accessories, including approximately 400 vintage pieces through the Ghurka Company under the Vintage Link. Today, our archives contain more than 2,000 vintage Ghurka bags and accessories, representing decades of collecting, studying, preserving, and caring for these exceptional pieces.
We do not compete to offer the cheapest Ghurka bags—and we don't believe exceptional vintage Ghurka should be cheap. We offer value: carefully selected pieces with character, charisma, history, and many years of life ahead.
Every Ghurka we offer undergoes an extensive 11-to-18-step preparation and preservation process. We keep our collection in a dedicated, well-maintained environment; we carefully store bags wrapped in acid-free paper, box them, and routinely condition the leather to preserve its beauty and integrity.
Our care does not end when the bag is sold. With your purchase, we include a small jar of leather moisturizer selected for your particular Ghurka leather, along with care instructions, so you can keep your bag in great shape for years to come.
When you purchase a vintage Ghurka from us, you are not simply buying a used bag. You are acquiring a carefully preserved piece of Ghurka history from people who have lived with, studied, and cared for these bags for decades.
 
About Ghurka: (from Ghurka website)
Founded in Connecticut in 1975 by luxury belt-and-brace designer Marley Hodgson, Ghurka has symbolized superior American leather craftsmanship for over 40 years. 
The Ghurka brand traces its origins to a fortuitous discovery at a British sale house in the early 1970s. Hodgson, inspired by his love of history and leathercraft, offer on campaign travel gear and leather boots once owned by a British Ghurka officer stationed in India at the turn of the 20th century. He was so impressed by the quality of the nearly century-old leather, durable yet supple despite its age, and by the intricate craftsmanship that he launched a line of comparable leather accessories. Hodgson tracked down the lost tanning formula for these boots, and for other accouterments carried by the legendary Ghurka regiments, and applied the manufacturing process to his new collection.
With a new dedicated management team, I am sure we will see more of Ghurka than ever before, better and more versatile! (My comment).

9- Excellent Condition: New, maybe floor sample or minor sign of being used. Or tried once, in excellent condition with no visible signs of wear, or very hard to find any signs of use.
10 PERFECT CONDITION: Brand new with or without tags, or excellent pre-owned condition; no rips, stains, tears, or holes; ready to use.
