Original owner’s “PolioPioneer Certificate of Membership” card issued by The National Foundation forInfantile Paralysis on June 10, 1954, at Prospect Hill School, Pelham Manor, WestchesterCounty, NY CONDITION: EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT. The membership Card is pristine, “LikeNew”. This is a white paper card with blue font print; red stripes on side andred Polio Pioneer “seal” printed in center. The enrollee’s name is handwrittenon front; school name is stamped; town, county, state and date are handwrittenon back.
The card lays flatwith no stubs or fraying. The corners are 100% rounded with no surface wear,tears or curling. It has no stains, discoloration, fading or smudge marks. Thefront and back sides’ red, white and blue colors have remained rich and bright.All fonts and hand-written entries are clear and bold. The card measures 4 ½” x2 ½”.
