Oberheim OB-12 Virtual Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer (Vintage New-Open Box) For Sale

For sale is a rare (Vintage-New) OBERHEIM OB-12 VIRTUAL ANALOG 49 KEY SYNTHESIZER.

It\'s new in the box although it has been opened for pictures & inspection. I have looked over this keyboard for about 15 minutes running through the sounds & checking the action to make sure everything is functioning correctly. It is factory new and unplayed, though the box was opened, so I cannot list it on as \"NEW\". The original Oberheim box shows slight shelfware.

WHY I HAVE ONE IN THIS CONDITION:

I purchased this keyboard NEW from Musician\'s Friend in around 2004.  I had intended it to be for myself to add to my already large studio keyboard setup.

I was in the middle of a studio revamp/remodel and before I got a chance to integrate this keyboard into my studio, there was an unfortunate medical emergency in my family where I had to drop everything, stall my studio and become a full time caretaker for over 15 years. When that obligation ended, the COVID situation hit.

I ended up with stockpiles of new (and used) equipment sitting in a secured location.

Therefore I now still have this Oberheim OB-12 in vintage-new open box condition which I am listing now for sale. (among other keyboards, guitars, studio equipment and DJ stuff)

It is EXTREMELY RARE to find an OB-12 in this vintage-unplayed condition, and this model has subsequently appreciated in $value.  I believe it\'s the only OB-12 located in America on .

Original unopened Owner\'s Manual & power cable are included (Shown). 

STORAGE OF THE INSTRUMENT:

This has been stored for its life correctly in my dry, air conditioned smoke-free remix studio \"clean room\" secured instrument vault, then moved once to my climate controlled storage waiting for a good time to sell.  It has never been gigged or played. In the original box.
