Every controller is fully disassembled, professionally refurbished, and thoroughly tested before shipping. This process goes far beyond the basic surface cleaning most used controllers receive. The goal is to restore each controller as close as possible to its original cleanliness, appearance, and feel.
Refurbishment Process
- Shells, buttons, and other exterior components are deep-cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove dirt, oils, and grime from every crevice.
- Components are hand-polished to reduce surface scuffs and restore their appearance.
- Internal electronics are carefully cleaned and cleared of dust.
What does CE mean?
The CE stamp is primarily found on controllers with T2 internals, which are generally considered better than the earlier T1 models. Controllers with the CE mark are often lauded for being smoother and more durable, rather than the stiffer metal stick boxes found in earlier, unstamped, or "blank" models.
Note for Super Smash Bros players. We strongly advise a CE model if you have a specific preference for stick precision.
Thumb Stick Condition by Color
Indigo Purple, Jet Black, and Platinum Silver
Controllers may include either high-quality third-party thumb stick or cleaned OEM thumb stick in average to worn condition. If you have a preference, please leave a note at checkout.
Orange, Teal, White, and Specialty Colors
Controllers will include pristine-condition OEM thumb stick.
Cosmetic Condition Options (upon selection)
These options are cosmetic and does not affect functionality.
Scratched: The controller may have noticeable physical scratches or discoloration in one or more spots of the controller.
Discolored: The shell may show darkening or yellowing of the original color in one or more spots of the controller.
