Authentic vintageOliver Peoples OP-505eyeglasses in the classic tortoise/brown acetate with antique-gold detailing and the original matching clip-on sunglass lenses.

I purchased this set in the1990s, and it has been stored as part of my personal collection. This is the vintage Japanese-made version of the iconic OP-505 design. Eyeglasses currently have light prescription lenses.

The frame is markedOLIVER PEOPLES L.A.and505 404 AG, withOPTEC JAPANmarkings. The distinctive filigree bridge and temple detailing are characteristic of the classic OP-505.
