Limited Edition Olympic Release (1980s) The set saw asignificant resurgence and a new design (the RMJ/SG series) in theearly 1980s. 1984 Los Angeles Olympics Set (EX20WO): Pentel releaseda highly collectible, limited-edition set as an official sponsor ofthe 1984 Games. This version typically featured a gold-colored bodyand came in a red velvet presentation case. The Excalibur prestigeline was essentially discontinued by the 1990s, though somerollerball pens remained in production longer.
