Pine Flat (initially spelled Pineflat) was a bustling quicksilver mining boomtown in northeastern Sonoma County.
Its first post office closed down when the mining rush went bust in 1876.
However, a second post office was briefly re-established there from April 12, 1900, to November 30, 1932.

Because it was a tiny community with limited mail output, postmarks from Pineflat during this window are relatively uncommon and collectible artifacts of Sonoma County's historic mining era.
The stamp on the reverse side from your previous picture indicates it arrived or routed through Healdsburg, Cal. (the nearest major transit point) later that same night at 9 PM.
