A fiber-optic tether kit for long-range FPV and UAS work. Video and control data travel down a single-mode optical fiber instead of an RF link, so the connection is immune to electromagnetic interference and jamming, cannot be intercepted over the air, and does not depend on line of sight. The fiber pays off a purpose-built drum that carries the sky-end module inside it, and terminates at a ground-end module that hands off video and serial data.

• The reel still carries its factory transport cable ties and protective clasps. Per the manufacturer\'s instructions these must be cut and removed before the fiber is paid off - the fiber will break if it leaves the reel with the clasps still fitted.
• Minor cosmetic marks consistent with an opened box are possible. No damage is known to us.
• If a part you need is missing on arrival, return it - we cover return postage.
