Both candlesticks are stamped “C.H.B.” with the number “408.” The C.H.B. maker’s mark is associated with C. H. Beatson of Sheffield, England, a Sheffield silversmith and manufacturer active during the early 20th century. Pattern/model number 408 appears beneath the maker’s mark.These are elegant tall table or mantel candlesticks with a classic tapered column, stepped circular base, and removable-style candle cup/bobeche design.
