Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible matching pair of authentic antique Japanese Majolica (Wasei Majolica) tiles. Finished in a striking, glossy cobalt blue background with pooling lead glazes, these specific tiles were famously crafted for early 20th-century export markets and were widely integrated into Peranakan shophouse architecture, vintage furniture panels, and decorative fireplace hearths.
**Condition Note:**
These are genuine, 100-year-old salvaged tiles. They show authentic signs of age, including typical edge wear, light surface crazing, and remnants of old mortar on the unglazed back surfaces as pictured. There are no major structural cracks through the body of either tile. Colors remain exceptionally vibrant. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully to assess the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.
