Penn Central Railroad Diesel Engine Number Board 9180 SW 1200
SW 1200 9180 was former NY,NH&H RR 640 the very first EMD SW1200 that the railroad purchased.
HISTORY OF THIS DIESEL:
Number 640 was not only the first SW1200, but it was also famously the first Electro-Motive Division (EMD) diesel locomotive ever purchased by the New Haven, which had previously relied almost exclusively on Alco and Fairbanks-Morse. It also debuted the famous red, white, and black "McGinnis" corporate paint scheme on the railroad's freight roster.Used made of hard plastic 11.5 X 6.5 in good condition.
Note: There is two very small holes drilled through the plastic on each end of the number board
