Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Cartier Paris gold-tone aviator eyeglasses frame, Made in France.
This classic vintage Cartier design features an oversized 59 mm aviator-style silhouette with a refined gold-tone metal construction and distinctive double-bridge detailing. Elegant C-shaped accents at the outer edges of the frame add another recognizable Cartier design element.
The temples are finished with dark burgundy tips featuring gold-tone Cartier script plaques. The combination of the large aviator shape, gold-tone metalwork, burgundy accents, and refined French construction gives this frame a distinctive 1980s luxury aesthetic.
The bridge is marked “Cartier 59 14,” while the temple is marked “Cartier PARIS MADE IN FRANCE CE 140.”
