Having a Smart Parol is like having a different parol every night. You can have a static (steady) one color or multi-color display or dynamic lightplays. There are New Year, Valentine\'s Day, Mother\'s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas pre-programmed light settings, among many others. You cancustomize your own colors and light playson the Surplife app. You can alsoset a timer andsync to music. All of these options are only available with a Gift Ko Smart parol.

There are 3 ways to control the lights.

Adaptor plug - there is a raised white button on the plug that can be pressed to turn on the parol. The built-in mic is also beside this button so make sure this is clear of any obstacles for the rhythm sync functions. The button can also be pressed once to cycle through a number of pre-set lighting modes. Press the button for 3 seconds to turn off the lights.

Remote control - A remote is included that has a number of pre-set static and dynamic lighting modes and rhythm sync. There are instructions for programming your own scenes.

Surplife app - A QR code printed on the adaptor plug can be scanned to download a mobile app that offers more scene and mood lighting options, and ability to customize colors.

Rhythm (Music) Sync - Please note that your cell phone and the device (parol/light set) must be in the same Wi-Fi network and router for the rhythm sync to work. There is a troubleshooting section online for the Surplife app on this feature.

Damages from Shipping - We package all Parols securely and insure all shipments. We require signature delivery so we know you have received your Parol safely. If a shipping box is damaged, please refuse delivery or take pictures of the box and the damaged parol so we can file a claim with the carrier.

Return policy - There are no returns or exchanges for handmade items. We USUALLY do not accept any returns unless we have shipped the wrong item. Please note that there may be scuffs or some dirt in the capiz shell and there may also be dents in the brass siding of the parol. These are due to the hand working of the parol and are not damages but imperfections that add charm to a handmade item. But if you still want to return your parol, we will charge a 20% RESTOCKING FEE and return shipping will be for your account. If a returned parol is received with damages, there will be no refund given.
