I have one of these leaf gulper vacuums that use\'s a garden hose to create a venturi to push dirt up into the filter bags. It works very well and I use it when my pool is very dirty and at opening and closing the pool. Well one day the nylon cord that holds the bag to the vacuum broke and I needed a replacement.

Turns out the replacement filter bag at the website that I purchased the original vacuum from was priced at 12.99 plus a $7 \"handling charge\" on all orders regardless of price (free shipping on everything just a handling charge) which means the replacement bag is almost as much as the vacuum itself.!!!! I needed it so I ordered it.

Angry at being ripped off ,I decided to manufacture my own replacment which you see here. Thats the power of the angry consumer! Now I will not get rich selling my filter bags on , but I can save others from getting ripped off and give them a better product at the same time.

There is one difference, instead of a pull and lock type cord, this filter has an ELASTIC opening which STRETCHES over the opening of the leaf vacuum and it holds it in place pretty well. The elastic grabs around the vacuum and keeps it in place. And the filter is extra fine with a fine micron rating so it will capture the smallest of particles. If the elastic wears out you can always use a cable tie to extend the life if you wanted too.

Pricedreasonably -you can order a few and use them as disposable filter bags and throw them away after each use or keep a few extra on hand as replacements so that you are never caught short as I was when I was closing my pool and my original bag broke.

Plus these are affordable enough to throw away at the end of the season, but dont confuse affordable with \"cheap\" - these are not cheaply made and they will last!
