Amazing matched set of 8 Stanley No. 750 Bevel Edge Socket Chisels. All chisels are sharp and are marked with "No. 750" on the socket. Handles are all in excellent shape, steel is clean, and each chisel is at or close to full length. The set includes sizes 1/4", 3/8", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", 1", 1-1/4", & 1-1/2".
The 1-1/2" has what appears to be an "A1" engraving on the back top edge of the blade near the socket. The 7/8" has some minor pitting on the top surface that won't affect the cutting/sharpening performance. Other than those two minor apologies, this set is gorgeous and ready to be put to use.
Caution: This set has been sharpened to a razor edge. To protect the cutting edge (as well as your fingers as you open the box),each chisel has been coated with an industry leading plastic/wax coating which will peel off cleanly when ready, leaving no residue behind.
