Wonderful tall primitive-style pumpkin with an elongated, deeply ribbed shape and rustic hand-painted finish. Made from a lightweight foam-like molded material, the pumpkin is finished in a warm muted burnt-orange/terracotta color with hand-painted dark brown distressing along the ribs. A chunky dark brown stem completes the old-fashioned country look.

The intentionally aged and uneven painted finish gives this piece lots of primitive folk-art character—perfect for someone who loves pumpkins that look timeworn rather than bright and new.

A great accent for primitive, rustic farmhouse, country, folk art, autumn harvest or Thanksgiving decor. Its tall narrow shape would look especially good tucked into a fall mantel display, cupboard, hutch, entry table or grouping of assorted pumpkins.

Condition: Preowned with a rustic/distressed finish. There is visible surface wear, scuffing and paint loss, particularly on the underside, consistent with the primitive appearance and previous use. Remnants of the original bottom label are present. This was once an unpainted craft project.
