Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859–1941) was the last German Emperor and King of Prussia, ruling from 1888 until 1918. Known for his aggressive foreign policy and military buildup, his erratic leadership contributed to the tensions leading to World War I. He abdicated in 1918 following Germany\'s defeat and died in exile in the Netherlands.
