This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs entitled "Progressive Portland."The photographsor Portland Oregon circal the early 1900s have a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail. Each has a caption beneath.

There are15 pages of photographs.The page measures 7x5.5inches (18 x 14 cm). The full-page photos measure approximately 5.5 x 4 inches (14 x 10 cm).

Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is undated, but based on other books in my collection and the mix of horse-drawn carriages and early automobiles it appears to be from around 1910.
