RARE 1939-40 Ideal Toy SUPERMAN Jointed Wood DollVery rare and collectible Superman doll. Considered to be the first Superman toy, and even the first superhero action figure ever produced. Molded head and upper torso, but the rest of the body is made of wood with jointed arms and legs. All joints move smoothly. Approximately 13.5” tall. Original cape is in great condition with no fading. There are some cracked lines and peeling paint, but overall, this is a wonderful collectible gem! Photos show exact item being sold.
