UNaired Pilot Episode/Segment No. 7: \"NO PLACE TO HIDE\"
\"NO PLACE TO HIDE\" was the original pilot created to sell Lost in Space to CBS. The pilot was never broadcast during the original 1965–1968 run and remained unseen for decades. It was eventually recovered and shown publicly years later.
This is not a script for an ordinary episode of Lost in Space. It documents the earliest filmed version of the series, before the concept was substantially reworked for the CBS television series that premiered later in 1965.
Much of the footage filmed for this original pilot was subsequently incorporated into the first several broadcast episodes of Lost in Space. Consequently, this script represents the earliest production blueprint for scenes that would ultimately become part of the television series.
