Productions, Inc., this set came directly from someone who worked at Hanna-Barbera during the 1980s and was part of the studio's professional production materials. It was not a standard commercial CD release sold to the general public.What makes this set particularly fascinating is that although the CDs were compiled and produced in the 1980s, the library contains the kind of classic Hanna-Barbera sound effects that had been heard in the studio's cartoons dating back to the 1960s and beyond. These distinctive crashes, boings, whistles, bells, vehicles, animals, machinery, comedy sounds and other effects became an integral part of the Hanna-Barbera sonic vocabulary heard across generations of animated television.
For anyone who grew up watching classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons, many of these are the sounds that helped define that world.
