Offered together is one nine-car New York Central passenger-car lot: two boxed Rivarossi four-car sets plus one individually boxed IHC smooth-side roomette car. All nine cars are unused New Old Stock with their original factory-installed interiors, as confirmed by the owner.
WHAT IS INCLUDED• Rivarossi four-car set in the box labeled R6946 / A Set — four cars.• Rivarossi four-car set in the box labeled 6947 / B Set — four cars.• IHC smooth-side roomette car, box number 2709, lettered “Cascade Valley” — one car.
Total: nine HO-scale cars and all three original manufacturer boxes with the inserts shown. The photographs identify the exact cars and their placement in the boxes. All are sold together; this lot will not be separated. No locomotive, track, transformer or other background items are included.
APPEARANCE AND FEATURESNew York Central gray passenger-car livery with contrasting striping, factory-installed interiors and a varied mix of passenger and head-end equipment, including a dome car and tail/observation-style car.
“1938 Pool Scheme” is the seller\'s identification of the livery. The original Rivarossi box labels read “1930\'s New York Central.” The date describes the seller-identified scheme, not the date these models were manufactured, and the lot is not represented as an exact reproduction of a particular 1938 prototype train.
CONDITIONThe cars are unused New Old Stock with original factory-installed interiors. The original boxes show age-related shelf wear, including scuffing, creasing, edge/corner wear and wear to their clear display windows. Please inspect all photographs for the visible condition and included items. No claim of factory-sealed packaging or operational testing is made.
