This is the Jan 24-30, 1969 issue of RAT Subterranean News (Vol 1 #26)---underground newspaper from Lower East Side of NYC. This issue has an Eldridge Cleaver poster centerfold, articles by Jerry Rubin, the return of Gary Snyder and much more.This paper is 57 years old and been in my possession since it was printed on cheap newsprint at the time---there is some wear around the edges but basically intact with no major tears, stains or damage (see scans).
