Up for sale is a 1971 Antique RCA TV. I believe the model to be GQ-729 chassis CTC-46 though I'm not 100% sure. The model number has rubbed off on the back.
Screen comes on and shows full raster of snow/static though color could use some recalibration which is typical of all sets of this era. Had it for almost a year, I just haven’t had a chance to play around with it. If the calibration was perfect I’d be charging more than $150😎.
I’m sure people looking at this already know, but for 1971, this was a top of the line color set.
Also. comes with an RCA Television Service Data Guide for the CTC 40 Series chassis. May not be the exact guide but it’s close.
Wood chassis shows a little warping from previous owner’s stored location but otherwise screen and legs are in really good condition. It's been in my climate controlled basement since 2025 and protected from the elements.
Can be used for furniture, parts or full restoration if you're up to it. Weight is about 100 pounds and I’ll help you load into the car.
